A higher bar than the FAA minimum — on purpose
The FAA passes you at 70%. We don't call you ready until you're consistently clearing 85%+ on realistic, full-length exams — with no major gaps hiding in the corners.

- Latest score ≥ 85% (well above the FAA's 70% pass line)
- 3 of the last 4 full exams at 85%+
- Every ACS area above its minimum (80%, or 75% for Loading & Performance)
- No "red" weak areas, no yellow areas still waiting on review, and no repeated misses on a critical safety or legal concept
- At least one readiness exam finished within the 120-minute limit

Regulations change. The Academy treats the FAA, 14 CFR (eCFR), and the ACS as the only primary authorities — never generic study guides. Lessons and questions are tied to their primary sources, each source records when we last verified it, and a scheduled check flags sources that are due for re-verification. Figure drills use the FAA testing supplement (FAA-CT-8080-2H) and excerpts from a current FAA sectional chart; from October 26, 2026 the real test also includes image-based questions from current sectional charts that aren't in the supplement. This is exam preparation, not legal advice.
